In 1997, the Company was established and listed on Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
In 2002, the Company’s largest shareholder changed from Ganzhou Municipal Land Resources Administration to China Media Development Shenzhen Company.
Significant development of communications and initial engagement in the mobile internet business. In 2008, Telling Communication’s leading position in China's mobile phone distribution field was established. The Company founded Yitian Xindong Network Technology Co., Ltd. and began engaging in the mobile internet business.
In 2003, a major asset restructuring occurred. The Company acquired 70% equity of Telling Communication, changed its name to “Telling Holding” and transformed its main business to focus on marketing services for communication products, with fruits, liquors and other businesses as sidelines.
In 2011, the Company and OPERA collaborated to establish a joint venture, Beijie Imagination (Beijing) Software Co., Ltd., to expand the mobile browser business.
In 2012, OPERA ranked among the top 3 mobile browsers in China in terms of market share.
In 2013, Tadu ranked among the top 3 in China’s mobile reading market.
In the same year, the Company won the first mobile communication virtual operator license in China.
In February 2014, Telling Communication Group was established, officially launching the strategy of diversified development.
In May, Telling Mobile, a virtual operator brand, was announced to officially launch the virtual operation business.
In January 2016, the concept of “one platform for one network” was established and the strategic direction of the“1+N” business model was formed for marching forward to become a leader among the industrial internet service platforms.
In March, as Palm Commerce Information Technology (China) Co., Ltd. was acquired, the Company announced its formal entry into the lottery business.
In December 2016, the Company’s largest shareholder changed from China Media Development Shenzhen Company to Shenzhen Investment Holding Co., Ltd.
In October 2017, the Company undertook a major asset restructuring. After the application for acquiring the remaining 30% equity of Telling Communication was approved by China Securities Regulatory Commission, Telling Communication officially became a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company.
In 2018, the Company signed contracts with the three major operators, becoming one of the first enterprises to obtain licenses for the mobile communication resale business from the three operators.
In July 2018, the construction of Telling Mansion, which is located in Shenzhen Bay Super Headquarters Base in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, started as scheduled.
On August 20, 2018, the Company signed a concerted action agreement with its shareholder SIHC.
In December 2018, the Company brought in strategic investors, Tadu began cooperation with PhoenixNet, and Telling further focused on its main businesses with particular attention to developing 5G communication.
In 2019, the Company set up an operating platform in Hong Kong and expanded business for Huawei into 19 countries, including Dubai, Nigeria and Panama.
In the first half of 2019, the Company's lottery business won the bid for the national construction project of China Welfare Lottery’s Keno; in the second half of the year, the Company won the bid for the construction project of a new video lottery system business software for China Welfare Lottery.
